Moving goods to Ireland?

As of Monday, 14th September 2020, an upgrade of the Palletways Portal for all Republic of Ireland (ROI) postcodes is scheduled.  As of this date, the Palletways Portal will reflect the Eircode system, Ireland’s postcode system launched in July 2015.

With over 35% of addresses in Ireland sharing their address with at least one other property, the change to the Eircode postcode system will make it easier to accurately identify the location of a collection or delivery address therefore removing the hardship and potential mistakes in finding addresses in Ireland, ensuring that we continue to make our services quicker & easier to use.

An Eircode is a seven-character postcode with two parts:

For example, A65 F4E2

The first part is the routing key defining the postal town and the second part uniquely identifies the property.

If you are in doubt or need to find an Eircode, then could we please direct you to:  http://finder.eircode.ie

As of Monday 14th September, the old Palletways ROI system driven postcodes will no longer be available and hence it is important that any Portal address books are updated to reflect the new delivery or collection Eircode system. Thank you for your prompt action in ensuring that we can deliver your promises to your customers.
