I recently completed my work experience with H&M Distribution Ltd. I really did not know what to expect as I only really knew they did transport! During my week I visited their three depots in the UK (Warrington, Gloucester and St Neots) and worked in each department; accounts, customers services, commercial, warehousing and transport management as well as going out with a driver!. I have to say that I was totally surprised by the professionalism required and tasks each department has to complete in order to maintain expected levels of service. I cannot name all the people but everyone gave me time to explain what they do and the working atmosphere was great. I definitely want to work in this sector when I ,leave school and would not hesitate anyone looking for a broad based career to do the same as you can develop in so many ways’. Thank you H&M!
